Message #944
Risalah Ar-Rahman
July 16, 2025
Bismillaahirrahmaanirrahiim
"ALLAH showed me a dream: Prophet Muhammad standing beside a pool that was not yet completed. He was walking calmly along the edge of the pool, looking into its depth. He wore a white robe with a green shawl draped over his shoulders. He appeared serene as he walked, and I was standing behind him.
The Messenger of Allah said, 'O my daughter Ruqhoyya! Do not make these pools too deep,' and he pointed toward a large and long pool.
He walked around inspecting its depth, and I asked, 'How deep should it be, O Rasulullah?'
And Prophet Muhammad said, 'Reduce it by less than half!' Then I saw the Prophet pointing to his elbow. I replied, 'Yes, O Rasulullah,' and he smiled...
He said, 'I want you to believe in the words of Allah. Indeed, in the words of Allah lie Secrets; we merely obey them.'
Then he entered the chamber of the well of Thuba.
Rasulullah looked into the well and said, 'Cover this well and guard it.' He drew water with a bucket and poured it into a glass. I saw Prophet Muhammad squatting and drinking from it. Then he made du'a: 'O Allah, grant us relief from thirst during the gathering when the sun is directly above our heads; grant us relief from the thirst that dries our throats...'
Then he drank again.
Then he wiped his face down to his beard.
He continued walking around, observing everything in that area.
Then Prophet Muhammad walked forward, and we walked together until we reached our house in the desert. I opened the door, and Prophet Muhammad walked around the house, stroking his beard.
Then his companions came to him and embraced one another.
I saw an elder man with curly beard and broad face smiling. Prophet Muhammad said, 'O Umar, how are you?'
And Umar replied, 'Indeed, we are in the peace and protection of Allah, O My Beloved, O Rasulullah!' Then Prophet Muhammad invited his companions inside, and there were three other companions with him.
I entered my room.
I saw Prophet Muhammad preparing drinking water for his companions.
And I listened to their conversation.
Prophet Muhammad said, 'O Umar, have you all been grateful to Allah?' And I heard, 'O Rasulullah! Beloved of Allah, indeed we are in constant gratitude to Allah.'
Then they drank the water. I observed how they drank—slowly and gently, raising their hands, placing their left hand beneath the grip of their right hand.
Prophet Muhammad looked at his companions with tenderness. Prophet Muhammad said, 'There will come an era, near its end, when hardship strikes a land. My ummah will suffer hunger and fight over distributed food, yet they will be killed. And they will continue to fight over it,' and Prophet Muhammad wept, his body trembling.
His companions wept. I wept, watching them from the gap in the curtain that separated my room.
Prophet Muhammad said, 'They are my ummah,' and Prophet Muhammad sobbed quietly.
Then he wiped his tears with his thumb and index finger.
Then he called me and said, 'Sit here, my child!' So I moved behind the Prophet, behind the cloth curtain separating the kitchen area.
Prophet Muhammad said, 'My daughter Ruqhoyya! Deliver my message to my ummah: when your time reaches the era promised by Allah—'Allah bears witness'—follow the Call of Allah! Convey this to my ummah. In one land you will witness my ummah dying, starving, and suffering injustice—help your brothers! They are my ummah.
Do not split apart and quarrel among yourselves! Unite and assist them!'
And Prophet Muhammad wept, and his companions wept.
And I also wept. I replied, 'Insha-Allah, O my father Muhammad, I obey you, O Rasulullah.'
Prophet Muhammad said, 'When that time stands before you, indeed you are under the Warning of Allah—hasten! Do not neglect the Command of Allah!'
Then I saw the companions bid farewell, sobbing and crying. They were grieved seeing Prophet Muhammad weep. And I saw Prophet Muhammad leave as well. He said, 'My daughter Ruqhoyya! Lock the door! I am going to the house of Abu Hurairah; I wish to deliver my message to him.'
When the era approaches its appointed time (the Hour), you will see food becoming extremely expensive—more costly than gold. You will witness my ummah starving, but who will care? Indeed, only those who believe in Allah will care, and those who believe in the Last Day will stand up.
Yet many do not know.
Then Prophet Muhammad went out through the door, and I saw him walking under the scorching heat and across the desert landscape.
I drew water from the well beside our house and washed the garments of the Messenger of Allah.
I hung them to dry and entered the house.
I felt the intense, searing heat—this was unlike the time I am living in now.
I woke up, weeping, writing down the message of the Prophet."
